Dena Dynan

Dena has been an enthusiastic educator for over 24 years who has traveled and lived around the country with her Marine husband and three daughters. She graduated from Ball State University with a BA in Spanish and English Education. From then on, she has taught 11 of the 12 grades in public education and has enjoyed every one of them. Dena’s inspiration for this program came from her eldest, twin daughters who were learning to navigate middle school friendships in a post-pandemic world. In her spare time, Dena loves to explore and embrace wherever her family is currently living. Her favorite hobbies include: walking, reading, drawing, dancing, and talking peoples’ ears off. Dena believes that making and maintaining friendships is one of the keys to a happy life.

Sarah Innocenti

Sarah has been working in education for over 10 years. She has taught mostly intermediate grades during her career. Sarah has met, firsthand, girls who would have learned so much from the guidelines that were created in this program, over her years in public schools. She knows that the F2FBFF Friendship Crew curriculum will surely make a difference, especially with students in this post-pandemic time. It is a wonderful tool for understanding how to navigate friendships and recognize the few are meant to be held on to for a lifetime. Sarah is excited for the boy version that she knows will help her own son connect with friends. When her younger daughter is old enough, she will also benefit from this program. In her spare time, Sarah loves to swim, hang out with friends, work out, walk, and read. Sarah knows that friendships are the key to a balanced life, whether you are young or old.
